Parrulo Duck's Pattern

Hey! Two weeks ago I promised to publish the Parrulo Duck's pattern ... and here it is! Well, I need make some comments about two issues.

First. This pattern is not too much complicated, but I think is not for beginners.  Although most of the pattern is very simple, understand the pattern of Duck's feet could be a little hard if you don't have experience enough. Nevertheless, if you are an amigurumi beginner, I encourage you to try it. If you have any doubt you can contact me through this post's comments or emailing me.

Second. Notice that I used two different yarn sizes. The thickest one was used for body, head, wings and tail.The finest one was used for beak and feet. You must use the exact size indicated of yarn and hooks to ensure the work be proportional. If you make, for example, the beak using yarn and hook indicated for body, you'll obtain a beak too much big and the duck will look horrible!
I did't have time enough for write the pattern in three languages so, today, English pattern. Maybe next Sunday could publish the Spanish and Portuguese versions :)

Eva María and the Sun

My cousin's birthday was on Agoust the 2nd. and I made this amigurumi for her. Her name is Eva Maria, just like my cousin, and she is a little lion-girl. I made her with a bikini and a beach set for two reasons : we are on summer season, and beach is present in many of my childhood memories of my cousin. And I made a sweet sun because, as the old spanish song says, "Eva Maria went away to look for the sun at the beach". Beach set includes many things: a beach bag with a bottle of water inside (hydration is important!), a book, a bouncy ball, a beach bucket and shovel, and a towel. You can see photos bellow for more details. I want to especially thank my brother for his amazing photo editing work. I hope you enjoy them as much I did.

[PT] A minha prima esteve de aniversário no passado 2 de agosto e fiz este amigurumi para ela. O seu nome é Eva Maria, como a minha prima, e é uma pequena menina leoa. Eva Maria vem em biquíni e com um set de praia por dois motivos: porque estamos na estação do verão, e porque a praia forma parte de muitas lembranças de infância com a minha prima. Também fiz um sol pequenino, pois como a antiga canção espanhola diz "Eva Maria foi-se embora a procurar o sol na praia". O set de praia inclui muitas coisinhas: um saco de praia com uma garrafinha de água (hidratar-se é muito importante!), um livro, uma bola insuflável,  um balde de praia, uma pá para a areia, e uma toalha. Pode ver todos estes objetos nas fotos a seguir. Quero agradecer especialmente ao meu irmão pelo excelente trabalho de retoque fotográfico. Aguardo que as desfrutem tanto como eu.

 [ES] El pasado 2 de agosto fue el cumple de mi prima, así que hice este amigurumi para ella. Se llama Eva María, como mi prima, y es una pequeña chica-leona. Eva Maria viene en bikini y con un set de playa por dos motivos: porque estamos en temporada de verano, y porque muchos de los recuerdos de infancia que tengo con mi prima transcurren en la playa. También le hice un solete, porque, como dice la vieja canción "Eva María se fue buscando el sol en la playa". El set de playa incluye muchas cosas: un bolso de playa con una botella de agua ( ¡ hidratarse es muy importante!), un libro, una pelota inflable, un cubo y pala de playa, y una toalla. Puedes ver estos objetos en las fotos de abajo. Quiero agradecer especialmente a mi hermano por el espectacular trabajo retocando las fotos. Espero que las disfrutéis tanto como yo!
